Living Minimalist + Heal Relationships with Letters

"I'm tired of all this stuff."
In a recent email, a dear friend said she was tired of being her household's unofficial Thing Manager. With her house flooded with too much stuff, she committed to becoming minimalist. Twelve years ago, I made the same commitment. I hear many people groaning over the same thing: they feel buried by clutter, with too much to tend to, constantly. Where do you stand with this? Last week I recorded a 20-minute talk On Minimalism. You can listen to it here, and find all our free talks and interviews, here.

The Power of Love is in Your Hands
Get ready for some awesome sauce, because Valentine's Day is in the air. We've got top-notch treats for you, both with cutting-edge content you're not likely to hear other places. For February, we're offering two free recordings: one for couples and one for individuals. Both are conversations with our resident relationship Jedi, masterful Relationship Coach, Charles Zook.
Our individuals call is for people looking for your "100%" -- a partner who is everything you want -- and for those who've decided committed partnership isn't your thing. Our couples call focuses on disparity in sexual preferences -- the when, the what and how of it -- which exists in every relationship and is a leading cause for breakup. We're so excited to share these in February!

This is where I get giddy.
It only took a few decades, but hey, better late than never! It brings me huge glee to announce that I am now offering my lifelong art of letter writing, to the great wide world. Letter writing is powerful, and it can heal relationships. Please visit my letter writing website and help spread the word! Thank you. It feels really, really good to be living my art. Here's more about this transition in a recent blog post, Where Your Heart Moves the Pen.
Before I got pregnant in 2012, I dreamt of a baby boy and wrote him a letter in my journal. You can read it: Dear Baby Boy Soul. Sound strange to write to the soul of a child you've not conceived? Letters can be written to a vast variety of beings, including your living or deceased personal hero, the librarian you admire, or your one and only marvelous self. Here's my invitation to kick-up your letter writing practice this year.

That's a wrap for this newsletter.
Shorter and perhaps a little sweeter than usual. To the folks who just joined us, Welcome. I wish I could feed everyone on Earth fresh organic blackberries from our back yard. We are all so fortunate with this planet we call Home. For now, this electronic note will have to do.
With great Love for all of you,
Jessica
