Late Spring Speaks from Spaciousness

Last month, I got the 3rd migraine of my life.
It was a clear sign: Pressure. Too much pressure. Too much trying to figure things out, to make something work. Life was presenting me with a choice to listen and honor what my body was communicating, or to suffer. I chose to listen.
Simple? Absolutely.
Easy? Absolutely not.
When we've created a habit of something -- like drinking or smoking or living our days with an intense drive to make something happen -- we've wired our brains for that, and it is not easy to unravel and choose another way. First we must make a decision, and from there it is one choice after another to honor that decision.
Now weeks into my choice for spaciousness, which was just what I needed, I feel restored and ready to choose another path. Not one of pressure, but one that's regenerative and trusting rather than effortful.
Ta-da! I slipped, and now I'm back to feeling great again.

Our darling downtown card shop, Paperwhite, invited me to lead this workshop. We'll offer another phone workshop on the topic at some point. Stay tuned!

Another Shameless Ode to Foam
