On a recent call with my coach, Charles, we were talking about my work as a writer, performer and Love Coach. I told him that I didn’t understand why most people find themselves staying in a familiar zone of mediocrity, not giving themselves the gift of feeling radically alive.
In his deeply calming voice, which has comforted me thousands of times in our 20 year dance, he said —
“To the caterpillar, the idea of becoming a butterfly is catastrophically dangerous.”

It got me thinking about humanity and how afraid we are to remember the Love we are. And it got me thinking about my work creating Making Love to Fear. I felt a sense of admiration for my coaching clients and Masterclass participants. How brave they are, I thought.
What brings YOU fully alive?
Not just-breathing alive, but singing-from-the-tips-of-your-ecstatic-human-wings alive?
Not expressing what you think you should express while you’re in a body, because someone or society said you should, but expressing because —
your divine heart and gloriously unique living body feel electrified when you do?
Today might be your last day to live.
GO LIVE IT. Live as you are, not what you were told you ought to be.
Everything is energy and it’s all contagious. Invest in the energy you want more of in yourself and in your Life.
My friend Lizzy (pictured above) comes to mind. She is vitality embodied. Being with her makes me feel affirmed and soulfully accompanied; her friendship encourages me to keep beaming my own electric Light.
Who do you invest your time and attention on most, to support your soul in embodying what it most longs for?
Recently I had my first positive test with Covid. Other than the initial congestion, it’s been a surprisingly wonderful experience. (More on that soon.) When I thought it was just a cold, I filmed this short clip to share with you.
Last night in the bathtub, I listened to Michael Meade on Why We Resist Change. He spoke about the caterpillar and the butterfly in a way that helped me see more clearly into why we humans are afraid of our full aliveness.
Here’s a musical jewel to help you say an unwavering “Yes!” to your full aliveness, motivating you to integrate that Yes into your days — Nirvana, Come As You Are.
From my heart to yours~

P.S. Being a caterpillar is just fine, and I must say… your wings are strikingly beautiful.
