With this post, I invite you to get clear on the dreams you’ll say “yes” to in 2025. What relationships, experiences, places, practices and joys are a 100% yes for your body and soul? Bring them to mind. Lean into them. That’s how you make your dreams reality.
I’ll share my eight yes’es here. Why eight? It’s one of my favorite numbers as its shape so beautifully reflects the duality of the human experience, that fertile place where our wound is a womb, the intersection of our passion and pain.
Love and fear.
Darkness and light.
Masculine and feminine.
I revel in the dance between these things.
In 2025, I will:
Celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Leaning into Light! My blog, my business name, my public penned expression of Love for humanity.
Lean into creative partnerships that stimulate my deepest self, for the sake of exponentiating beauty and empowering Love on this planet.
Reignite my podcast, which slipped away during my 2016-2021 migraine dance.
Drool over cascades of coastal fog dangling down Mama Earth’s curves. And, says this body I’m living in, “Drink more water!”
Revel in turning 50! It is wonderful to feel so good at half-a-century old, and to love my life more every day. On my birthday (International Women’s Day, March 8th) I will do the bravest thing I’ve ever done — perform a one-woman-show I created called Making Love to Fear.
Become a better mother to my daughter. There’s no tougher, more humbling, worthwhile or rewarding work than being a parent. Whether a child is our own or someone else’s, we are all meant to extend our Love to nourish and champion young life.
Support humanity to release and transmute pain by ‘making Love to fear’ through my own life’s embodiment — practicing what I preach — and by guiding others to find this freedom, too.
Listen more closely within, to the Light in my being. ✨ For many years I have hesitated to name about this... As a non-Christian who has vividly felt Christ’s universal, non-religious Light since childhood, I see that humanity is now ready for a revival of his core teachings, outside of the Christian framework. Christ Consciousness is universal. It reminds us we are “in the world, not of the world.” It is the Light in everyone. I will speak up about this more in the coming year.
This year and every year, you are loved~

If that last bit resonated with you, you might like this. I am enjoying Marianne Williamson’s new book, The Mystic Jesus: The Mind of Love. Though I’m nowhere near as interested in politics as she is (bless her heart, for serving where she feels called), we are both 30+ year students of A Course in Miracles, an advanced, non-religious compilation of Jesus’ teachings channeled in the late 1960s and published when I was one year old.
Here’s an excerpt —
“The prepackaged religious Jesus doesn’t work for everyone, including some Christians. For many, he has become like a fossil enclosed within a glass case, displayed in a museum but somehow lacking spiritual force.
The world needs help—few are doubting that now—but religious dogma seems like an inadequate response to the challenges of our time. People long for a sense of spiritual immediacy, not some promise of a vague and far-off heaven.”
And here’s a 20-minute clip of her, reading from the book.
