What Would Mama Do?
If I could snap my fingers and manifest one thing today, it would be that we all tap into the mother within and ask ourselves, What would Mama do?
Men, women, fathers, mothers, 90-year-olds and 9-year-olds, closing our eyes and seeing the glow of the lotus within — fierce and gracious — actually feeling the indomitable power of The Mother inside our own beings, energetically.
No, it doesn’t just live in women who’ve birthed new life. The energy of the divine feminine is innate in us all. We simply neglect it. It needs our tending, to come back to life.
If there is one thing the world needs today, it is the love of a mother.
Whether your mother is living or has passed on, and whether she is the embodiment of Grace, or a woman whose unhealed wounds led her to harmful choices…
None of that changes the fact that you have access to the divine feminine anytime you want it. Inside of you, it is intact and always ready to extend its generosity your way.
Look around, outside. Maybe you watch ‘the’ news or use social media. You walk to the market or drive to work and see how we violate each other. Notice the pain we are choosing to create in this world, and ask yourself,
What would Mama do?
Now look around, within yourself. Notice the pain you tolerate — the impacts of the unhealthy choices you make. Close your eyes and ask,
What would Mama do?
When enough of us tap into the love of The Mother inside ourselves, and shaped our actions to come from that all-powerful place…
We will stop seeing children on the other side of the world, bleeding and bruised by our tax dollars.
We will stop feeling imprisoned by our jobs, our marriages, our government — because we would reclaim the freedom that belongs to all of us. Not freedom from work or marriage or citizenship. Freedom from our own enslavement. Freedom from our refusal to be free.
We will stop wishing things were different, because we would start seeing more of the world we wish for — one where it’s safe to wear what we want, love who we want, and want less altogether, because we see that we already have it all.
There is an endless list of what will stop, because the world will be shaped by our deep conviction to stand for Love instead of fear.
The energy of the divine feminine is infinitely giving, and we were all born with access to that. What the world most needs today is the fiercest Love inside of you.
Infinitely loved you are. It’s up to you to remember.
