Who the Fog am I?

10 things about me, sponsored by the letter 'f'

For those who are just arriving, here’s a glimpse.

  1. I am an intimacy devotee. “Hi, let’s go deep.” I have been called a profound romantic, as I see Life as a passionate extended Love affair with no greater purpose than being in Love with everything.

  2. F is my favorite letter … feelings, fog, foam, frisbee, Fidela (I named my brain tumor).

  3. Since age 5, I’ve been a prolific writer of letters, and they’re all Love letters. Letter writing is penned intimacy.

  4. I was born on International Women’s Day (March 8th) in 1975 and on my 50th birthday (March 8 2025), I will perform a one woman show called Making Love to Fear. It’s a 3-act show on addiction, depression and oppression, and the freedom that Love offers when we turn to it as medicine for:

    • addiction (outsourcing) & freedom, aliveness

    • depression (isolation) & creator, expression, Village

    • oppression (victimhood) & woman power, freedom

  1. I was raised in Fairfax, California and now live in Sonoma County. My Instagram name is @rainbowwriter, honoring the unparalleled beauty of rainbows and my love of writing. When I was a kid and my parents would drive me over the Golden Gate Bridge through its rainbow-rimmed tunnels, it struck me that each human being is a completely unique hue in the rainbow of humanity.

  2. Love is my religion and Jeshua, better known as Christ, has been a pal since early childhood. His playful spirit and radical embodiment of Love helped me confidently declare Love as my religion when I was 8 years old.

  3. My favorite nicknames are Petal, Tesoro, Cascada, Starheart, Songbird, Paradisiac, Yess & Rio.

  4. I have two children – one human daughter named Helena Beam & one canine son, Jerry, named after Jerry Garcia.

  1. For 46 years I outsourced, or had an ‘addiction’ to, food and sugar. It led to five years of extended migraines, diagnosis of a massive brain tumor (removed in 2021) and finally, a 92-day stretch with severe sciatica. Now almost 50, I’m thriving and I feel better than ever!

  2. My favorite thing to do? It was ‘spoken’ in a word during my 2021 NDE (near death experience) ... REVEL. My favorite ways to revel are dancing, throwing frisbee & hiking up hills singing Love songs to God.

Whether you benefit from my writing in a big or little way, I am grateful for your presence. If you’ve been telling people about me during these tough times on Planet Earth, knowing the power of Love can help brighten their journey, I thank you. Every time I finish a call with a coaching client, my soul smiles knowing it is at Home. I am here for Love, and nothing more.

Love~
Jess

Are you living your life turned ON in Love? If not, what’s in your way?

On January 8th, I’ll launch my first Making Love to Fear DEEP DIVE Masterclass! It’s a 6-week online course for women who are ready to feel the freedom and aliveness Love offers. Space is limited to 12. Course runs Wednesdays, Jan 8 - Feb 22, 2025, 11AM-12PM Pacific. We’ll dive into these six themes —

Week 1: Your Love Landscape

Week 2: Befriending Fear & Owning Your Power

Week 3: Divinity & Your Web of Relational Yes

Week 4: The Power of Feelings & Gratitude

Week 5: Forgiveness, Surrender & Your Authentic Joy

Week 6: Revel in Your Turned-On Life

Making Love to Fear is a fundamental shift in your relationship with pain and fear. What we resist persists; what we love, we heal. Instead of seeing pain through fear’s eyes and prolonging your suffering — demonizing or avoiding it — you can heal it by seeing through Love’s eyes. This relational pivot transforms the dance.

The fee is $895, unless you sign up by December 15th and take advantage of our kick-off early bird rate at $495. Full fee goes into effect on 12/16/25. Email Jess with any questions!
